- In 2023, 4,258 inpatient discharges and deaths were related to the malignant neoplasm of cervix uteri, commonly known as cervical cancer, which accounted for 1.6% of hospitalisation due to all types of cancers.

- In 2023, 173 persons died from cervical cancer, accounting for 1.2% of all cancer deaths. The crude death rate for female was 4.2 per 100,000 female population.

- In the years between 1979 and 2023, there was a general decreasing trend in age-standardised death rate due to cervical cancer.
