Birth Rate

  • The crude birth rate in Hong Kong has dropped significantly from 35.0 per 1,000 population in 1961 to 7.0 per 1,000 population in 2003, then raised to 13.5 per 1,000 population in 2011, and dropped to 4.4 per 1,000 population in 2023.
